We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at Swinburne University of Technology. As a PhD researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in process metallurgy, focusing on the development of new technologies and processes for the recycling and smelting of metals.

About the Project

Our research group is focused on the development of new processes and technologies for the recycling and smelting of metals. We are currently working on several projects, including the development of new methods for the recycling of battery materials and the optimization of smelting processes for the production of high-purity metals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in process metallurgy, focusing on the development of new technologies and processes for the recycling and smelting of metals
  • Collaborate with our research team to design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and develop new processes and technologies
  • Write papers and reports on research findings and present results at conferences and seminars
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and proposals
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. materials science, chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering)
  • Background in process metallurgy, materials science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
