Job Description

As a Dermatology Nurse Consultant/Nurse Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care and leadership within a dynamic environment.

You will work closely with patients, guiding them through their treatment journey, from screening and administering therapies to ongoing education, follow-up, and support. Your focus on patient-centred care will also involve taking responsibility for treatment coordination, clinical documentation, and ensuring access to important services such as Medicare PBS applications.

This role offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to influence care at both an individual and service level. You will provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, contribute to projects and programs that improve outcomes, and play an integral role in shaping best practice in dermatology care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience and relevant clinical expertise
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive change
  • Experience mentoring, supervising, and developing junior staff within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice, standards, legislation, and patient safety frameworks
