Quality Assurance Engineer Role

The primary function of this role is to ensure the highest quality standards are met before software products are released. This involves planning, executing and overseeing various types of tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with engineers and product owners to deliver reliable and scalable solutions for the business and customers.

  • Develop test plans and test cases, prepare test environments and execute manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct system testing, end-to-end testing and regression testing.
  • Document issues, facilitate troubleshooting and manage defect tracking in a project management tool.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in automation testing with strong programming skills in C#, Java or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL), test management software and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
