Urology Consultant Job Description

Launceston General Hospital invites applications for a Consultant Urological Surgeon to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an experienced urologist to provide specialist care to public and private patients, be involved in research and quality improvement activities, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist care to public and private patients
  • Be involved in research and quality improvement activities
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Participate in clinical reviews and research activities at the hospital
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety systems and improvement initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should have specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Urology/Urological Surgery. They should also have current working with children registration (where applicable) and be able to meet the essential criteria outlined in the job description.
