As a leader in food production, we are seeking an experienced Reliability & Maintenance Manager to oversee all R&M functions across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the R&M team to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of all assets.
  • Design and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
  • Respond to breakdowns and unplanned maintenance with minimal disruption to site operations.
  • Monitor asset performance and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee contractor engagement and ensure high standards of service delivery.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align maintenance efforts with operational goals.
  • Manage resource allocation and report on maintenance activities.
  • Provide mentorship, technical training, and support to Maintenance Coordinators and the wider team.
About You

You are an experienced Reliability & Maintenance Manager with a proven background in food manufacturing or processing environments. You bring strategic oversight and hands-on experience to this role.

Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in industrial or production environments, with at least 5 in a senior R&M leadership role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background across electrical, mechanical, and facility systems.
  • Expertise in implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience managing budgets, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Safety, regulatory, and GMP standards knowledge in food environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Project management and/or OHS certifications (desirable).
