Job OverviewThis leadership role oversees the maintenance and reliability function across oil & gas assets, focusing on safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations through proactive strategies, planning, and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Preventive Maintenance Programs: Implement effective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
- Oversee Shutdowns and Turnarounds: Plan and execute shutdowns, turnarounds, and long-term maintenance across all assets.
- Manage Asset Performance Data: Utilize SAP/Maximo and data analytics to drive asset performance and reliability.
- Lead Contractor and Vendor Management: Ensure quality, safety, and value for money from contractors and vendors.
- Monitor Maintenance Metrics: Lead root cause failure analyses and embed continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering Teams: Optimize asset life-cycle and cost control through collaboration.
- Ensure HSEC Compliance: Foster a strong safety culture and comply with health, safety, environment, and compliance requirements.
- 10+ Years' Experience in Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry Maintenance: Proven leadership of maintenance teams and contractor/vendor management required.
- Strong Knowledge of Maintenance Methodologies: Asset management and reliability engineering skills essential.
- Demonstrated Success in Shutdowns and Capital Projects: Proficient with CMMS (SAP/Maximo) and data-driven maintenance practices necessary.
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification: Engineering, maintenance, or related discipline qualifications preferred.
- Effective Communication and Influencing Skills: Ability to travel regularly and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement culture essential.
