About the Role

Job Title: In-Home Aged Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide personalised support to older Australians in their homes or communities.

  • Provide assistance with daily living tasks, such as shopping, personal care, domestic assistance, transport, meal preparation, and social activities;
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and lead fulfilling lives;
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality, client-centred care;
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment that values diversity and inclusivity;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge;

About You:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly regarded but not necessary for entry-level positions);
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to employment;
  • Previous experience working with older people, including those with dementia and/or complex needs (desirable but not essential);
  • Empathy for older people within the community;
  • Willingness to bring joy to someone's life while providing a meaningful service;
  • Desire to begin a career and grow within the Community Services Sector;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment;
  • Understanding of WH&S issues and risk management;
  • COVID vaccination (minimum of 2 doses);
  • Comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle and current NSW driver's licence;
