As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering effective procurement strategies that drive business success.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our organization and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional services to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and tendering for materials and services, managing risks, and building strong relationships with suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing and Tendering: Identify and procure high-quality materials and services from reliable suppliers to meet our operational needs.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Procurement, Commercial or Supply Chain management
  • Membership of a procurement body (desirable)
  • Technical or industry-related experience in the energy sector
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
  • Detailed knowledge of contract management methodologies and legislative requirements
