Logistics Infrastructure Development Specialist Role

This position is responsible for driving business strategy and managing logistics infrastructure requirements across port and rail. The key responsibilities include developing strategies, supporting commercial and regulatory processes, identifying operational performance issues, and representing the company's interests within relevant forums.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and drive group strategy to improve logistics operations and support commercial processes.
  2. Represent the company's interests in infrastructure and supply chain forums in Queensland and NSW.
  3. Maintain industry stakeholder relationships to identify opportunities and risks.
  4. Identify and communicate logistics and infrastructure capability gaps.
  5. Review and participate in regulatory processes that affect the company entities.
  6. Draft and lodge submissions to regulators as required.
  7. Manage logistics and infrastructure service providers' delivery performance.
  8. Establish and maintain contractual arrangements with service providers.
  9. Deliver relevant infrastructure continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a commercial and regulatory focused role within infrastructure and/or logistics.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier performance management skills.
  • Excellent legal acumen with the ability to interpret, draft, and negotiate complex contract agreements.
