A highly skilled Speech Therapist is required to join our multidisciplinary team, providing expert care and support to clients across adult and paediatric settings. This challenging role offers a diverse caseload of clients with developmental and acquired disabilities, where you will have the opportunity to develop skills in dysphagia management, AAC prescription and implementation, and general therapy.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, designing impactful therapy plans, and delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' communication and swallowing abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness and developing targeted therapy plans to address these.
  • Therapy Delivery: Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to clients, using evidence-based practices and adapting to individual needs and preferences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to share knowledge, expertise and best practices, ensuring seamless care coordination and optimising client outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional Registration: Current registration as a Speech Pathologist (SPA) in Australia.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
  • Driving License: Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Checks: NDIS check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
