Job Description

This role involves working with individuals who require support with their daily activities, goal setting, and developing strategies to improve their independence. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a genuine passion for working in the disability sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve participant goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote participant well-being and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
