Senior Land Services Officer

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Land Services Officer to join our organization. This is an ongoing, full-time position located in the Upper Hunter region, preferably in Singleton or Scone, but we will consider candidates from Merriwa.

  • We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to work with landholders to deliver land management outcomes and advise on best practice under the Land Management Framework.
  • The ideal candidate will lead projects and provide frontline advice on Land Management matters using their expertise and knowledge.
  • As a Senior Land Services Officer, you will identify vegetation, plant communities, and record accurate field data while operating a 4WD vehicle and performing outdoor work.
  • You will use attention to detail and ability to work with a range of digital systems to achieve team goals.

This role requires a positive and solution-focused attitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills to think outside the box and support others as needed. The successful applicant may be required to undergo a police check, health assessment, and other relevant checks as part of the recruitment process.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
