Kitchen Steward

Overview

voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is a luxury boutique hotel set on an intimate 70-acre, 70 room estate, ideally situated at the gateway to the finest vineyards of the Hunter Valley. We are looking for a Part Time Kitchen Steward to join our engaged and friendly kitchen team, where you will provide the highest level of attention to the cleanliness and sanitation of all food and storage outlets. Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

• Operating dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitize crockery and kitchen implements
• Keeping working spaces clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met
• Work with the kitchen to provide excellent service to our guests

What we need from you

• Exceptional attitude and 'can do' mindset
• Prior experience in either a Hotel or Restaurant Kitchen is preferred
• A team player with a positive, open and honest communication style
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Full Australian Working Rights are required, no sponsorship is available
