About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Duty Fitter to join our team in Somersby. As a Heavy Duty Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy mining equipment, including excavators, mobile plant, CAT engines, dozers, haul packs, moxys, and trenchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of heavy mining equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives
What We Offer:
Aston Advantage offers a competitive salary range of $55-$70 per hour, with the opportunity to work an average of 50 hours per week. Weekend overtime is optional, and we offer ongoing career development and job stability with a leader in our field.
Requirements:
- HD/HV qualification
- Experience working on excavators, mobile plant, CAT engines, dozers, haul packs, moxys, or trenchers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
