Our Mt Arthur Coal operation in the Hunter Valley region of NSW is one of the largest individual coal production sites in the region. We produce high-quality, clean energy coal for international and domestic customers.

We are seeking experienced tradespeople to join our team at Mt Arthur Coal, living residentially and enjoying all that the valley has to offer. As a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our coal production site.

About the Role

As a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be required to live within a safe distance from our mine site. Relocation packages are available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibility
  • Quality risk assessments prior to completing any work
  • Hazard identification and reporting
  • Diagnostics and maintenance of heavy mobile plant equipment
  • Adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process
  • Completion of field leadership activities
  • Maintaining a valid pit license for breakdown response

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Mechanical Fitter or Heavy Duty Diesel trade qualification, with mobile maintenance and diagnostics experience
  • Familiarity with heavy mobile plant (e.g., Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu)
  • Work scoping experience for detailing corrective work to facilitate the planning process
  • Experience in mining maintenance environments
  • Capability in 1SAP desirable
