Centre Manager Position Overview

This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead and develop a team of childcare educators and teachers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a licensed childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Centre Manager who possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to ongoing professional development, an ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
