Production Manager

About the Role:

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of our production process, including planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, ensuring that health and safety regulations are met, determining quality control standards, overseeing production processes, coordinating with the procurement team stock demands, organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment, supervising and scheduling the work of junior casual staff, and organizing relevant training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing production strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing production resources effectively to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance production processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar production role.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as knowledge of food standards.
  • Proven track record of driving results and improving efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
