Program Leader for Trauma-Informed Services

This role is for a seasoned professional with a strong commitment to trauma-informed practice and feminist principles.
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Mental Health to lead and grow our dynamic DFSV, mental health and wellbeing programs in North Wollongong and Warilla.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic delivery of therapeutic services and provide clinical leadership.
- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice in DFSV and mental health programs.
- Foster partnerships with community stakeholders to support holistic care.
- Contribute to training and program development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work or related field.
- Experience in program management and clinical leadership within DFSV services.
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in trauma, domestic/family violence, and mental health.
- Deep understanding of feminist principles and gender-informed care.
- Experience working with diverse communities and marginalised groups.
- Excellent team leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Training in the Safe and Together Model.
- Experience in a feminist or not-for-profit environment.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
