Senior Privacy Governance Specialist

As a seasoned professional in the field of privacy governance, you will be responsible for leading complex matters involving statutory interpretation and project delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing privacy complaints, breaches, and investigations, as well as providing expert advice and risk-based assessments on projects and business initiatives involving personal information.
In addition, you will contribute to privacy-related governance and compliance work, including drafting policies, procedures, and operational guidance.
You will also interpret and apply relevant legislation and policy to support consistent decision-making and risk mitigation.
Design and deliver engaging training sessions to build staff capability and awareness around privacy, complaint handling, and statutory obligations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in managing privacy matters, strong communication and analytical skills, and proven ability to manage sensitive complaints and investigations with discretion and objectivity.
- Demonstrated expertise in privacy governance, including knowledge of privacy legislation and best practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team of specialists.
