About the Role

As a Servery Staff member at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a vital role in providing nourishing meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our residents.

Key responsibilities include assisting in meal preparation, presentation, and serving, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, and collaborating with the team to provide holistic support to residents.

About You
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or aged care is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness is essential.
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently is essential.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence is required.
  • Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is necessary.
