Job Description

As a senior technical accounting professional, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on complex accounting matters to support business growth and success. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical accounting support to the Finance team, focusing on M&A transactions and projects.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Preparing technical accounting papers and reviewing proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing guidance and advice on technical accounting matters to support business decisions.
  • Maintaining and updating accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must possess:

  • A Business or Commerce degree with a strong focus on accounting and finance.
  • Significant experience in financial accounting and reporting environments, preferably in a consolidated group setting.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
