Electrical Maintenance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for performing general electrical maintenance tasks, on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of electrical maintenance practices, demonstrated ability to diagnose electrical faults and working knowledge of maintenance procedures.

In addition, you will possess strong communication skills, initiative and attention to detail, effective time management skills, ability to maintain strict confidentiality and preparedness to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general electrical maintenance tasks
  • On-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs
  • Complete daily work routines, jobs and project work in accordance with company needs and priorities
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition
  • Assist in the training of other employees/apprentices
  • Provide technical input on engineering improvements to production systems and facilities
  • Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met
  • Contribute to key business activities as required
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times
  • Perform other duties as directed

  • Educational background in Electrical trade qualifications
  • Sound understanding of electrical maintenance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose electrical faults
  • Working knowledge of maintenance procedures
  • Sound communication skills, initiative and strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Preparedness to work flexible hours
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current driver's license
