We are seeking a dentist to join our program and make a positive impact on the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
About the ProgramThe NT Remote Locum Program is a workforce initiative dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities. Our program is led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals who are passionate about improving the health outcomes of their community.
- This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore some of Australia's most breathtaking landscapes.
Requirements for SuccessTo be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A current NT Radiation License or be willing to obtain one.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant setting.
- Minimum 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience as a dentist within the past 12 months.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
In addition to these requirements, we value adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in unique healthcare settings.
