Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Coordinator

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Coordinator, you will:
- Maintain professional standards for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers within the district, partnering with managers/team leaders and Senior Health Workers to drive results.
- Identify training needs and facilitate education/training in conjunction with Senior Health Workers, managers/team leaders, and develop strategic plans at the division level.
- Coordinate sustainable strategies for recruiting and retaining Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Workers to enhance service delivery.
- Develop quality improvement practices and strategies to provide culturally safe care to the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander population residing in CHHHS with lived experience of MHAODS.
