The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading critical projects for an industrial automation solutions business.
This key leadership position requires a natural leader who understands the importance of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the Projects team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, maintaining a high level of quality across all projects.
- Lead by example, promoting a safe and inclusive work environment that aligns with the company's values.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Safety performance: lead and lag indicators, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident severity management.
- Human Resources: staff retention, employee satisfaction through initiatives such as GPTW, and internal promotions.
- Financial management: P&L to budget, debtors, and cash flow.
- Project performance: delivering projects on or better than budget, minimizing margin reductions.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Complex industrial automation project delivery experience, preferably in electro-mechanical projects (A$20m+).
- Leadership skills, particularly in technical roles.
- Ability to develop relationships from scratch and manage key stakeholders effectively.
- Proven experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- PMP certification and relevant tertiary education or diploma.
