Project Leadership Opportunity

The Senior Project Manager position offers a unique chance to lead complex industrial automation projects and drive business growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager with experience in leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee our critical project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Projects team, maintaining compliance to industry standards, and developing strategies to improve project performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Manage, oversee, and coordinate the Projects team to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Compliance and Review: Maintain compliance to industry standards across the region and be heavily involved in project reviews, kickoffs, bid sign offs, and sales handovers.
  • Safety and Operations: Ensure the team operates in a safe manner and adheres to company values.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to improve project performance, including financial management and budgeting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead operational and maintenance personnel to achieve objectives and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: Complex industrial automation project delivery experience (A$20m+) of Electro-Mechanical nature, ideally in Baggage Handling Systems or similar.
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership of people with a technical profile and ability to develop relationships from scratch with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management, as well as sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes.
  • Certification and Education: PMP Certification and engineering-related tertiary or diploma education.
