Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care to help older people live independently in their homes.

The role involves delivering high-quality support services, including personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, and transportation to appointments. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to clients, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and assist with shopping.
  • Monitor and manage medications, ensuring clients receive the correct dosage.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or willingness to undertake training).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a strong commitment to client care.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31.31-$34.12, plus 99c/km paid travel time, and a mobile phone provided. Full training is given to all new staff members, and we offer opportunities for career advancement.
