Seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to lead our dynamic team in Tasmania, Australia.

About the Role

The Emergency Department at our hospital treats 45,000 patients annually, with a 30-40% admission rate and 20% paediatric caseload. As the primary referral centre for Tasmania, we receive high acuity cases and diverse clinical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Contributing to ongoing professional development, including conference and sabbatical leave
  • Participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)
