Project Controls Manager Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to take on the role of Project Controls Manager, leading the development, integration, and governance of project controls systems across multiple infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and lead project management strategy for concurrent infrastructure and engineering projects.
  • Govern project controls frameworks including Primavera P6, MS Project, ARES PRISM (Contruent), and PowerBI.
  • Oversight and integration of scheduling, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting.
  • Subject matter expert in tools transition and upgrades.
  • Maintain centralised project schedule and reporting system.
  • Coordinate mobilisation of PMO resources for major project ramp-ups and bids.
  • Train and mentor teams on planning tools and processes.
  • Align internal methodologies with client PMO requirements.
  • Lead change control processes and deliver programme-level reporting.
  • Drive innovation in project controls technology adoption and data-driven decision making.

We seek an experienced Project Controls Manager with 15+ years in project planning, scheduling, and project controls from an infrastructure or engineering project environment. The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven leadership experience managing PMO or controls teams.
  • Experience with major public infrastructure / engineering projects and alliance contract models.
  • Strong background in programme-wide systems implementation and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with project management software and industry-specific best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration skills, strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and strong leadership presence. They will be comfortable working in both agile environments and structured PMO frameworks.
