Job Summary:
This role involves supporting our customer training and documentation platform, as well as contributing to the growth of our developer community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information for documentation and other content.
- Content creation: Create content across various mediums, such as written descriptive text and informative visuals.
- Content quality control: Proofread, edit, and review materials and documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
- Leverage data: Use data in day-to-day decisions and support the team in turning data into meaningful information.
- Highlight great content: Inspire SMEs to engage and contribute by showcasing high-quality content.
- Feedback implementation: Monitor and respond to feedback from learners and other stakeholders in internal channels, updating content, managing the ideas repository, and coordinating with team members as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong writing and editing skills; experience as a Technical Writer or Business Analyst is beneficial but not essential.
- Demonstrable experience writing technical documentation or documentation/content for a technical audience is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), learning management systems (LMS), or community systems.
- A degree in User Experience, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred, but relevant technical experience or hobbyist work is acceptable.
- Self-driven and hands-on: Proven experience driving continuous improvements of existing content or conducting gap assessments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
