Job Title: Central Highlands Alliance Facilitator

Drive Progress and Initiatives of the Central Highlands Child and Family Alliance:

- Full-time, permanent position based in Wendouree.

About the Opportunity:

As an Alliance Facilitator, you will work with Executive and Operational Groups. Your responsibilities include driving progress and initiatives identified in the Alliance Action Plan, providing regular reports according to DFFH timelines, identifying and supporting workforce capability through opportunities for reflective practice and shared workforce development across programs. You will also coordinate policy changes at a local level and liaise with managers in Alliance agencies to support collaborative relationships and develop cross-sector partnerships with local services.

What's On Offer:

In addition to base salary and superannuation, you will receive 17.5% leave loading and access to $15,900 salary packaging benefits. You will also be eligible for Paid Parental Leave for up to 10 weeks and a 10% gap discount for childcare services with Uniting Early Learning.

About You:

You are looking to join an organisation that supports vulnerable Victorians and Tasmanians to improve their lives. To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in community development, social services, early years child and family welfare or equivalent.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and evaluating service co-ordination improvement projects.
  • Substantial project management experience with strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Children and Family Services Sector, including Child Protection, the requirements of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and the strategic framework and standards for Family Services 2006.
  • Understanding of the requirements of developing, implementing and evaluating child and family welfare partnership models.
  • Proven experience and demonstrated ability in supporting collaborative efforts within and across community-based and government organisations.
  • Demonstrated strong research skills, including highly developed report writing skills.
