Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Optical Dispenser to join our team. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for providing eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by our Optometrists
  • Build meaningful relationships with our clientele that gives them a reason to visit us again
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in optical, or 2+ years retail sales experience
  • Previously entrusted with store opening/closing duties
  • Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
  • Confident, clear and effective communication skills
  • Capable of building trusting and respectful relationships
  • Self-motivated, positive and friendly manner

Preferred Qualifications:

Optical Dispensing Certificate IV is highly desirable, but not essential.
