Tax Leadership Manager

Job Description

The Tax Leadership Manager will lead all tax-related activities for the organisation, working in close partnership with the local Finance team and global tax leadership. This senior role ensures compliance with local tax regulations (including corporate tax filings, indirect tax filings, and transfer pricing), delivers commercially sound tax strategies, provides expert guidance to support business decisions, investment activities, and governance, and liaises with regulatory bodies.

This position plays a key role in preparing for evolving tax requirements, including Pillar Two implementation, and driving process improvement initiatives. The Tax Leadership Manager will oversee preparation, review, and submission of tax filings, partnering with external advisors where required. They will also oversee transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions in line with OECD guidelines and local requirements.

The Tax Leadership Manager will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting to both internal and external parties. They will drive the consolidation and analysis of tax data to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, this role will involve monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing potential impacts on the fund entities and the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10–15 years of tax experience, including significant exposure to Australian corporate tax and investment transactions.
  • Experience with Pillar Two compliance and related reporting highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in Australian tax laws, with a proven track record in governance, advisory, and process improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
