We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, reporting, and strategic advisory functions.
This is a career-defining opportunity to step into a key leadership role, ensuring Levande meets all taxation obligations while optimising tax benefits and minimising exposure.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be a trusted expert, providing commercially astute and technically sound tax advice across the organisation, with the potential to progress into senior leadership as Levande continues to grow.
Your Impact: Lead tax compliance across GST, income tax, land tax, stamp duty, and withholding taxes.
Oversee tax reporting, provisioning, and financial statement disclosures in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with Levande's business objectives.
Provide expert tax advice on business operations, capital structures, and projects, working closely with Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams.
Monitor and interpret legislative changes, ensuring proactive tax risk management.
Collaborate with external advisors, the ATO, and auditors to manage tax risks and compliance.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
Play a key role in shaping Levande's tax function, with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
What You'll Bring: A relevant tax law qualification and deep expertise in Australian corporate tax law.
Background in the retirement living or property sector, or in a leading global accounting firm specialising in tax advisory or compliance for property portfolios.
Proven track record in a Senior Manager-level tax role within a large corporate or multinational environment.
Strong ability to simplify complex tax issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, strategy, and risk management.
A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives and process improvements.
