Procurement Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our team.

The role involves utilising procurement software to manage and track the procurement process from requisition to delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements, identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing agreements, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilise Pronto to manage and track the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing agreements, and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently with the Pronto system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and expedite orders as necessary to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders, invoices, or deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Assist with inventory management and control activities as needed.

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Experience working as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
