The Role
The Purchasing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality gowns to our customers. This role is suitable for someone who thrives on attention to detail and is adept at navigating systems such as Qlik, Salesforce, and ERP platforms. This position requires a strong sense of urgency in problem-solving and decision-making, and it involves working cross-functionally with both suppliers and internal teams. Responsibilities
What We Expect :
- Place purchase orders with overseas factories
- Verify the accuracy of purchase orders through systematic checks and timely updates
- Monitor delivery schedules and critical purchase orders to proactively communicate delays and risks to key stakeholders
- Manage late orders, address general order inquiries, and assist in resolving product returns.
- Process factory consignment stock in our system and coordinate the stock distribution with suppliers
- Confirm shipments for new collections to ensure alignment with budget goals
- Coordinate factory shipments, including consolidation of loads and verification of packing lists
- Ensure all import / export documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations
- Process receipt of goods while identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Manage systematic warehouse movements to maintain accurate and up to date ERP inventory
- Coordinate warehouse stock takes and update the ERP system accordingly.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving overall performance
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For :
Educational Background : Preferred degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, related fields, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum 3 years' experience in a purchasing, supply chain, or logistics coordination position.Order Management : Proven track record of effectively managing factory orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and addressing any delays or discrepancies.Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of fostering effective relationships with both internal teams and international suppliers.Work Environment : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent organizational and prioritization skills.Problem-Solving : Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.Technical Proficiency : Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management and assisting with data analysis and reporting tasks.Software Experience : Familiarity with ERP systems is essential. Qlik, Salesforce and logistics software knowledge is desirable.Adaptability : Willingness to work in a dynamic setting where priorities can change rapidly; agility, resilience, and a positive attitude are crucial.What We Offer
