Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to support the delivery of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal advice on complex issues relating to competition law and regulation.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis into complex matters relevant to our business operations.
  • Assist with investigations and court proceedings, including working closely with external stakeholders.
  • Draft and settle complex documents, including pleadings and submissions, in support of our business activities.
Requirements:
  • Admission as a practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Experience in working effectively as a lawyer advising and guiding line areas under tight timeframes.
  • Experience advising in relation to Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 would be an advantage but is not essential.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and experience in providing strategic and legal policy advice.

You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team to achieve goals.
