Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide personal care and daily living support to clients with high support needs, including those using wheelchairs and requiring medical assistance.

The role involves fostering independence and inclusion in shared living environments, building positive relationships with clients and families, and managing challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with manual handling and use of aids
  • Support clients with complex needs and medical requirements
  • Foster independence and inclusion in shared living environments
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have experience supporting high-needs disability clients, confidence in manual handling and use of aids, strong communication and problem-solving skills, flexibility for varied shifts and rostered work, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent) is desirable, along with knowledge of NDIA processes.
