We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead to oversee dynamic civil infrastructure projects in Tamworth. This full-time position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on a blend of project management, client interaction, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a technical team.
  • Mentor and support team members to encourage professional growth and career development.
  • Develop and secure new business opportunities, managing ongoing client relationships with an emphasis on transparent and constructive communication.
  • Oversee project management of diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Provide professional engineering advice and solutions that align with client needs and project goals.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership and/or project management qualifications.
  • At least 10 years of engineering experience in Australia, with a strong background in managing professional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure project management, ideally involving road, bridge, or water/sewer projects.
  • Ethical, reliable, and committed to open and honest service delivery.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to balance competing priorities, work autonomously, and inspire a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Current NSW driver's license and legal eligibility to work in Australia.
  • RPEQ and/or CPEng certification is highly desirable.
