We are seeking a Portfolio Specialist to join our Client Portfolio Management team. This role plays a key part in new product development and serves as a first point of contact for various stakeholders on all investment-related communications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks :

  • Serving as an internal subject matter expert for State Street Investment Management's Systematic Equity business, clearly articulating the investment philosophy and process.
  • Conducting exposure, attribution, risk, and ESG analysis across regional, sector, and style exposures.
  • Developing regular portfolio commentaries for client distribution and publication.
  • Assisting in updating strategy collateral, including factsheets, cheat sheets, presentations, and customised client reports.
  • Taking ownership of developing new content and messaging for flagship strategies.
  • Providing ongoing support for existing strategies by coordinating due diligence questionnaires, RFP responses, and ad hoc client queries.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reporting through automation tools and collaboration with global teams.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent quantitative skills, strong organisational abilities, and a willingness to navigate complexity.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline, CFA designation or progress toward CFA (or similar qualification), 3-6 years of relevant investment experience, and proficiency in one or more programming languages used in data analysis or financial modeling.
