The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced teachers and guest artists to contribute to our teaching staff.

Job Description

We are looking for individuals who can bring their expertise in various areas of the dramatic arts, including acting, design, costume, properties and objects, technical theatre and stage management, scenic construction, writing for performance, directing, and cultural leadership.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. As a casual employee, you will be paid an hourly rate based on your qualifications and the scope of work required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree or higher qualification in a relevant field such as drama, theatre, performance, or education.
  • Proven experience in teaching or working in the dramatic arts industry.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in one or more areas of the dramatic arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
