Aboriginal Early Years Outreach Coordinator

This role involves building strong, respectful relationships with families, children and community members in the Port Adelaide area. The Aboriginal Early Years Engagement Officer will support pregnant women and parents/caregivers of Aboriginal children aged 0-5 years to connect with health service providers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting community voice to be heard in maternal and child health planning
  • Promoting awareness of services through community events and forums
  • Engaging with local service providers and contributing to service mapping

Required skills and qualifications include a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a related field, along with experience working in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
