Hitachi Rail STS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our rail systems projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and liaise with delivery managers and subsystem design teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage engineering change requests and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee design management, review, and configuration management processes.
  • Lead civil engineering and systems engineering activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Implement lifecycle management practices to ensure project sustainability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in complex, multi-discipline engineering projects, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Proven experience in real-time system engineering, testing, and integration activities, software verification, and validation best practices, and safety-critical techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Agile mindset, with the ability to make prompt decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment, with strong working relationships with technology providers.
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent.
