About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team. The ideal candidate will have a background in process plant design across base metals and demonstrated success in the delivery of studies and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the process team on studies and projects and check key process deliverables related to your field of expertise.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, vendors, consultants, and client teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Contribute to the review and optimizations of project design, cost, safety, constructability, and schedule.
  • Interface with global equipment suppliers to stay up to date with technological developments.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in mineral processing, chemical engineering, or metallurgical engineering with 10 years' experience.
  • RPEQ Membership
  • Previous industry experience within mining and mineral processing, ideally within EPCM
  • Proven experience in design across base metals and/or Gold
  • Essential Experience with design and implementation of floatation and comminution processes
  • Comminution circuit modelling and simulations
  • Process design experience including process mass balances, process flow diagrams, and process support services
  • Systems design experience including piping and instrument diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, hazard and operability design reviews, and systems support services
  • Familiar with technical specifications and Australian and international codes and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Experience using Metsim, Sys CAD, or similar
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
