Staff Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on AI and automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of agentic AI solutions to enhance efficiencies and usability.
  • Integrate monitoring capabilities into solutions to ensure performance and reliability from the outset.
  • Utilise Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting in developing and implementing automation tools and workflows.
  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Contribute to full-stack development with expertise in front-end frameworks like React and Angular, and back-end development with TypeScript.
  • Manage and optimise databases, both SQL and NoSQL, from both an admin and user perspective.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in software engineering with a strong focus on AI and Automation.
  • Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
  • Strong full-stack development skills, including front-end (React, Angular) and back-end (TypeScript) expertise.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools to maintain system performance and reliability.
