We are seeking an accomplished Tradesperson to fill a critical Maintenance Fitter role. This position is pivotal in driving excellence through planned and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.

The Maintenance Fitter will work closely with Supply Chain, People, and Safety, Quality, and production operators to achieve production output, quality, and cost targets while maintaining a safe and harmonious work environment.

This role requires trade qualifications, general maintenance skills on woodworking machinery, welding experience (MMA, TIG, MIG), and fabrication skills. You'll also need a high understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as good computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day production/manufacturing maintenance and improvement activities
  • Work with other functions to achieve production output, quality, and cost targets
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious work environment
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified
  • General maintenance on woodworking machinery or similar
  • Welding experience (MMA, TIG, MIG)
  • Fabrication/general light
  • High understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics
  • Good computer skills
