Job Overview

We're changing the paradigm of data privacy and cybersafety by creating a world where individuals have exclusive control over their personal information.

Our mission is to empower consumers and enterprises with identity and privacy toolkits, demonstrating these through our consumer reference applications.

Through the Sudo Platform products, we provide businesses with cutting-edge solutions for branded privacy and cybersafety.

In developing the Sudo decentralized digital identity, we aimed to do something groundbreaking – out of the box thinking and privacy by design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all stages of software development lifecycle from planning to maintenance
  • Work across the stack to contribute to microservices, SDKs and front-end integrations
  • Build and maintain automation tests and testing infrastructure
  • Drive Quality practices for the development team(s)
  • Contribute to product improvements based on Quality concerns and customer feedback
  • Participate in an on-call roster
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience developing in a full-stack environment
  • Experience with AWS (CloudFormation, CDK, Lambda, AppSync etc.) in medium to large-scale cloud-based environments
  • Deep knowledge of TypeScript
  • Experience implementing and maintaining unit, integration and system tests
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and scripting such as bash
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building and maintaining desktop software
  • Experience with SOC 2 compliance
  • Experience developing with security APIs and technologies (e.g. web crypto)
  • Experience with C++ or Rust
  • Experience with Electron and/or Browser Extensions development
