We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team at Wurli Wurlijang Health Service in Katherine. As an Aboriginal Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality clinical services, patient care, health promotion, and education to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical services, including health screening, treatment, and patient care
- Contribute to patient care plans and assist clients in making informed decisions about their health management
- Administer immunisations, eye health care, ear health care, diabetes health care, oral health care, and sexual health services
- Use the Communicare patient information system to identify care needs and document patient consultations
- A competitive salary package, including salary sacrifice arrangements
- An ordinary working week of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
- Relocation assistance and short-term accommodation support for eligible applicants
- Six weeks annual leave, plus leave loading, and one week paid special leave per annum
- 15 days personal leave per annum
- Fully registered as an ATSI Primary Health Practitioner with AHPRA
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
- Current National Police Certificate and Northern Territory Driver's Licence
- Current Working with Children's Clearance (Ochre Card)
