About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of skilled fabricators in a complex and dynamic environment. As Fabrication Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient and high-quality production of submarine components, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of fabricators, promoting optimal performance and development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee the fabrication process, coordinating with other departments to meet production schedules and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all products meet stringent requirements.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination between the fabrication team and other departments.
Requirements
  • Trade qualifications in fabrication or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes, materials, equipment, and experience with quality control and assurance practices.
  • Certification in welding and fabrication techniques (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to supervise, lead, manage, and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
