The Opportunity

This role represents a unique chance to develop, maintain and monitor project schedules for AUKUS submarines, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget. As a Project Scheduling Specialist, you will collaborate with engineering, procurement and production teams for seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are clearly defined and achievable.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular status reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineering, procurement and production teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within the defence or maritime industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate, adaptable, collaborative and proactive with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
